The use of brass as the main material for the production of various products is based on the casting technology. For this, special forms are made according to previously developed drawings and sketches. The production technology consists of the following stages: qualified engineers are involved in the design and development of the sketch, it is possible to produce drawings by the customer's forces, 3D modeling is actively used; an accurate model is produced for casting brass; polymer materials, gypsum, and some types of wood are used as the main materials for making the mold; the production of a mold for casting is the most difficult process; a special composition of sand and quartz is used for this; depending on the characteristics and composition of the brass alloy, the metal is heated to give fluidity and it is poured into the finished form; after the workpiece has cooled down, the product is refined, all irregularities and roughness are removed, polishing, coating with a layer of patina, gilding, and other compounds is performed. To simplify and reduce the cost of the technological process, modern machines and equipment are used. As a result, the finished product takes on a presentable appearance and requires a minimum of modifications. At the same time, the principle of manufacturing parts remains unchanged over a long period of time.
